For the first time in over ten years, Arkansas basketball will host “Primetime at the Palace” as the official kickoff for the 2025-26 season. The event is scheduled for October 3 at 8:00 pm in Bud Walton Arena.
Free tickets for the event are now available online. The evening will begin with introductions of John Calipari’s men’s team and Kelsi Musick’s women’s squad. Calipari is entering his second year as head coach, while Musick is beginning her first season leading the women’s program.
The night will include a t-shirt giveaway for the first 5,000 fans, a laser show, a dunk contest, and a men’s Red-White scrimmage. Additional entertainment is planned throughout the event.
Parking near Bud Walton Arena will be free on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 5:00 pm. All attendees must claim their free ticket regardless of age. There will be designated seating areas for students and premium ticket holders; all other seats are general admission. The arena clear bag policy will apply.
John Calipari stated, “We, as a program, are excited to introduce this year’s team to Razorback Nation. We hope to make this a fun event and look forward to building this into a great yearly tradition. As much as we love performing for our fans in Bud Walton Arena, we want to make this event a way for us to say thank you for all your support.”
Kelsi Musick added, “Our program is grateful for the opportunity to introduce our team at this event. We can’t wait to see the atmosphere in Bud Walton Arena and meet Razorback fans! Go Hogs!”
The schedule includes parking opening at 5:00 pm, doors opening at 7:00 pm, with festivities running from 8:00 pm until approximately 9:30 pm.
