Arkansas and Arkansas State faced each other for the first time at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, where Arkansas secured a 56-14 victory. The Razorbacks recorded 630 total yards of offense during the game. Quarterback Taylen Green contributed significantly, throwing four touchdown passes and rushing for 151 yards, which ranks as the fourth-highest single-game rushing total by a quarterback in the program’s history. He also scored a rushing touchdown. Running back Mike Washington Jr. surpassed 100 rushing yards with a total of 116 and added one touchdown.

The matchup drew attention due to its status as the inaugural meeting between these two in-state teams.
