#20 Arkansas defeated #15 Vanderbilt 93-68 on Tuesday night at Bud Walton Arena, marking a strong performance by the Razorbacks in front of their home crowd.

Six Arkansas players scored in double figures. Trevon Brazile led with his fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 10 points and a season-high 14 rebounds. He also contributed five assists, four steals, and two blocked shots. Darius Acuff Jr. added 17 points and five assists, while Meleek Thomas had 13 points and five assists. Malique Ewin and Karter Knox each scored 16 points.

Head coach John Calipari made a change to the lineup by bringing D.J. Wagner off the bench for the first time as a Razorback, aiming to “get D.J. going.” Wagner responded with 11 points, three assists, and no turnovers.

Arkansas controlled the game from the start, building an early lead of 13-2 and extending it to as much as 20 points in the first half. The team shot over 54% from the field in the opening period and out-rebounded Vanderbilt by ten boards at halftime.

Vanderbilt entered the game ranked tenth nationally in scoring but was limited to just 68 points by Arkansas’ defense. Tyler Nickel led Vanderbilt with all of his 17 points coming in the first half; he did not score after halftime.

The Razorbacks continued their efficient play in the second half, recording fourteen assists on nineteen made baskets while committing only three turnovers. They finished shooting over sixty percent from the field during that period.

This win gives Arkansas its fourth victory over a top-25 opponent this season—a mark previously achieved only twice before February (in both 1994-95 and 1991-92 seasons). It is also their fourth-largest margin of victory against an AP top-25 team.

The meeting marked the eighth time both teams were ranked when facing each other this regular season—the most ever for Arkansas outside postseason play.

Arkansas now holds a 32-15 advantage over Vanderbilt in their all-time series, including a strong record at home games played in Fayetteville (17-5).

Following this result, Arkansas will host LSU on Saturday at Bud Walton Arena with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 pm on SEC Network.

“get D.J. going.”
