In their penultimate match of the regular season, the Arkansas Razorbacks women’s volleyball team lost in straight sets to No. 19 Tennessee on Friday in Knoxville, with set scores of 18-25, 15-25, and 15-25.

Freshman Parker Duncan led Arkansas with 10 kills. Romani Thurman contributed eight kills and Jada Lawson added six. Sydney Maue had four kills and led the team’s hitters with a .231 hitting percentage.

Sophomore setter Kiki Remensperger recorded her 15th double-double of the season by tallying 17 assists and 11 digs. She also served one ace during the match.

Graduate middle blocker Zoi Evans registered two blocks against Tennessee, bringing her career total to 351—just two short of entering Arkansas’ top ten for career blocks.

Tennessee established early leads in each set, using strong serving and consistent play to maintain control throughout the match. Arkansas made several attempts to close gaps in the first set, narrowing Tennessee’s lead to one point at 17-16 before Tennessee pulled away for a 25-18 win. In the second set, Arkansas cut an early deficit to one but was unable to keep pace as Tennessee went on a run and took the set 25-15. The third set saw another quick start from Tennessee; despite efforts from Thurman and Duncan late in the frame, Arkansas could not overcome the deficit and lost the final set by ten points.

The Razorbacks will conclude their regular season schedule on Sunday when they travel to face No. 2 Kentucky at noon. The match will be available for streaming on SEC Network+.
