After reaching the NCAA Sweet 16 last season, the Arkansas Razorbacks men’s basketball team has been ranked 14th in the Associated Press preseason poll for the 2025-26 season.
Within the Southeastern Conference (SEC), Arkansas holds the third-highest ranking, following Florida at number three and Kentucky at number nine. Other SEC teams in the top 25 are Alabama (15), Tennessee (18), and Auburn (20). Texas, Ole Miss, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, and Oklahoma also received votes in the poll.
The Razorbacks’ non-conference schedule includes several teams ranked in the AP top 25. These opponents are Houston (2), Duke (6), Texas Tech (10), Louisville (11), and Michigan State (22).
Arkansas will begin its preseason with two exhibition games. The first is against Cincinnati at Bud Walton Arena on October 24 as part of the CareSource Invitational – Fayetteville, an event supporting mental health. Tickets for this game can be purchased at the Razorback Ticket Center.
On October 27, Arkansas will play Memphis at the FedEx Forum in the Hoops for St. Jude Tip Off Classic presented by Bad Boy Mowers. Proceeds from this event benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Tickets are available through TicketMaster.
The regular season opens on November 3 against Southern, with the game scheduled to air on SEC Network at 6 p.m.
