Davion Weatherspoon, an offensive lineman from Detroit, Michigan, has joined the Arkansas Razorbacks football program. Weatherspoon previously played for Ohio University, where he was recognized as a First-Team All-MAC selection by the league’s coaches in 2025.
During his redshirt senior season at Ohio in 2025, Weatherspoon started all 13 games at left guard and led the team with 881 offensive snaps played, according to Pro Football Focus. He earned the highest overall grade among Ohio’s offensive linemen with a 75.2 rating and posted team-best scores of 78.5 in pass blocking and 75.7 in run blocking. His efforts contributed to an offense that averaged 227.4 rushing yards and 411.5 total yards per game.
In the previous year, as a redshirt junior in 2024, Weatherspoon started all 14 games for Ohio. The Bobcats’ offense averaged 29.3 points and 406.1 yards per game while scoring a total of 53 touchdowns that season.
Weatherspoon also saw action as a reserve offensive lineman in his redshirt sophomore year (2023), playing in 11 games after not appearing during his redshirt freshman season (2022). He initially redshirted as a freshman in 2021.
Before college, Weatherspoon attended Harper Woods High School where he was named All-State three times and was rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 35 prospect in Texas.
He is the son of Bryant Weatherspoon and Elizabeth Hunt and has one younger brother, Bryant Weatherspoon Jr.
