Arkansas Razorbacks open preseason with intrasquad scrimmage in Hot Springs

Arkansas began its preseason with an intrasquad scrimmage at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs for the second consecutive year. The event started with a meet and greet featuring Coach Calipari and the team, followed by a brief warmup and two 20-minute scrimmages.

Unofficial statistics from the scrimmage were shared, highlighting individual performances. Meleek Thomas scored 21 points and collected three rebounds. Darius Acuff Jr. contributed 20 points and two rebounds. Nick Pringle led with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Other notable performances included Malique Ewin with 19 points and 12 rebounds, Karter Knox with 19 points and seven rebounds, and Trevon Brazile with 15 points and nine rebounds.

The Razorbacks will continue their preseason schedule with two exhibition games. The first will be at home against Cincinnati on October 24, named the CareSource Invitational – Fayetteville, Supporting Mental Health. Tickets for this game are available at the Razorback Ticket Center. Three days later, Arkansas will travel to Memphis for the Hoops for St. Jude Tip Off Classic presented by Bad Boy Mowers, an event that supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
