The Arkansas Razorbacks women’s soccer team has been chosen by Southeastern Conference (SEC) coaches as the preseason favorite to win the regular season conference championship, according to an announcement made Wednesday.
This is the third consecutive year that Arkansas has been selected as the top pick in the SEC preseason poll. The poll, voted on by league coaches, placed Texas second and South Carolina third. The rest of the rankings are Georgia, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Mississippi State, Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Florida, Missouri and Ole Miss.
Six Arkansas players—Erin Bailey, Kennedy Ball, Bella Field, Makenzie Malham, Keegan Smith and Zoe Susi—were named earlier this week to the SEC Preseason Watch List.
The 2025 women’s college soccer season begins Thursday, August 14. Arkansas will play its first match against No. 13 Iowa at Razorback Field with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
