The Arkansas Razorbacks men’s basketball team will host the Cincinnati Bearcats in an exhibition game at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville on Friday, October 24, at 7 p.m. The event, called the CareSource Invitational – Fayetteville, Supporting Mental Health, is sponsored by CareSource, a nonprofit managed care organization. The initiative aims to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma among children and teens across the country.
The game will be available for viewing on SEC Network+ and can be heard on the Learfield Razorback Sports Network. Parking for the event is free on a first-come, first-served basis except for a few protected lots.
This exhibition marks the first meeting between Arkansas and Cincinnati since 2021. It is also the first of two exhibitions for Arkansas this season. Cincinnati has already played one exhibition game, securing a win against #7 Michigan last Friday with a score of 100-98.
The exhibition games do not count toward the teams’ official records or their all-time series. Historically, Arkansas and Cincinnati have met five times, with the Bearcats leading the series 3-2. Their last encounter was in November 2021, when Arkansas won 73-67 in the championship of the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City.
Arkansas head coach John Calipari has a 6-7 record in his career against Cincinnati. His previous meetings with the Bearcats include coaching stints at UMass, Memphis, and Kentucky.
Following this exhibition, Arkansas will play at Memphis on Monday, October 27, in the Hoops for St. Jude Tip Off Classic presented by Bad Boy Mowers. This game benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and will be televised on ESPNU from FedExForum at 8 p.m.
The CareSource Invitational concludes with a matchup between Louisville and Indiana at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on December 6.
