Arkansas forward Vailana Tu’ua has been named SEC Freshman of the Week following her performance in the Razorbacks’ recent 3-2 victory over Florida. The announcement was made by the league on Monday.

Tu’ua scored her first collegiate goal in the 34th minute of the match and added a second less than a minute later. Her second goal served as the game-winner, making her the first Razorback player this season to achieve a brace.

The Razorbacks are scheduled to return to Razorback Field for their SEC home opener on Thursday, September 19. The match will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be available for streaming on SEC Network+.
