Arkansas volleyball drops match to Colorado in Buffs Invitational

Arkansas lost to Colorado in four sets on Friday during the Buffs Invitational. The Razorbacks won the first set 25-22, but Colorado took the next three sets with scores of 25-16, 25-15, and 25-22.

Lakin Laurendine led Arkansas offensively with a career-high 13 kills and a .345 hitting percentage. Setter Kiki Remensperger recorded her fourth double-double of the season, finishing with four kills, 35 assists, and a team-high 13 digs. Remensperger also had two of Arkansas’ three service aces.

Graduate middle blocker Zoi Evans contributed four kills and four blocks, including one solo block.

The Razorbacks are now 1-5 this season. They will continue play at the Buffs Invitational with matches against Denver on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Toledo on Sunday at noon.
