Arkansas lost a close match to Boston College on Tuesday, falling 3-2 in five sets (23-25, 25-15, 25-23, 15-25, 12-15). The Razorbacks took the second and third sets but could not hold off a late comeback by the Eagles.
Lolo Lambert and Parker Duncan led Arkansas offensively with 19 kills each. Both also recorded 12 digs, marking career highs for both players. Setter Kiki Remensperger contributed 45 assists and 11 digs, recording her third double-double of the season.
Redshirt junior Kylie Weeks played as Arkansas’ primary libero for the second time and registered a team-high 18 digs, setting a new personal best. Defensively, Arkansas totaled 12 team blocks, with Duncan and freshman Journey Peppers each contributing five.
In the first set, Arkansas overcame an early deficit to lead midway through but Boston College rallied late to take the set. The Razorbacks responded in the second set with a strong performance, building a significant lead before winning comfortably. Set three remained close until late when Arkansas secured it with a kill from Lambert.
Boston College regained momentum in the fourth set after tying early and went on an extended run to win decisively. In the final set, the Eagles established an early lead that Arkansas could not overcome despite narrowing the gap late in the frame.
Arkansas will travel next to Colorado for the Buffs Invitational from September 12-14. They are scheduled to play against Colorado, Denver, and Toledo. Matches will be available for streaming on ESPN+.
