The Arkansas women’s golf team, ranked eighth nationally, increased its lead to 21 strokes after two rounds at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational held at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville.

Senior Reagan Zibilski led the Razorbacks in the second round with a score of 5-under 67. She began her round with birdies on her first two holes and was 5-under through nine holes. Zibilski also made an eagle on the par-5 15th hole with an eight-foot putt. The back nine presented more difficulty for both Zibilski and her teammates, as they collectively finished 2-over with seven bogeys and five birdies. Zibilski moved up 21 spots on the leaderboard after shooting a 6-over 78 in the previous round.

Junior Maria José Marin also started strong, finishing her first nine holes at three under par before ending one over on the back nine.

Freshman Swetha Sathish posted a score of two over par (74), improving by ten places to tie for sixteenth overall.

Mississippi State’s Avery Weed continues to lead individually, holding a seven-shot advantage over José Marin.

The final round is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m., starting from hole number one.
