The Arkansas women’s golf team secured a decisive victory at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, finishing 36 strokes ahead of their nearest competitor. The tournament marked the team’s first win of the 2025-26 season.
Arkansas posted its strongest performance on the final day, shooting seven under par to complete the event at eight under overall. Kent State finished second with a score of 28 over par.
Junior Maria José Marin placed second individually with a score of 12 under par. She set a new course record at Blessings Golf Club with an eight-under 64, her lowest round as a Razorback. Marin recorded seven birdies and an eagle on the par-4 14th hole, ending two shots behind Avery Weed from Mississippi State, who won with a score of 14 under.
Sophomore Clarisa Temelo shot four under par in her final round to finish even for the tournament, tying for third place with junior Abbey Schutte. Senior Reagan Zibilski also contributed to Arkansas’s strong showing by tying for sixth place at five over par. All four counting scores for Arkansas finished within the top six positions.
Arkansas has now won the women’s team title at each of the last three Blessings Collegiate Invitationals.
