Arkansas women’s tennis secures doubles win at ITA All-American Championships

Members of the Arkansas women’s tennis team are competing at the ITA All-American Championships, which are being held this week at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina.

In the qualifying round of 32, the doubles team of Koskel and Carolina Gomez from Arkansas faced Shavit Kimchi and Claire An from Duke University. The Razorbacks won the first set 6-3, lost the second set 6-4, and secured victory with a 10-8 win in the deciding set. The Arkansas pair will play again tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. CT against Piper Charney and Emily Sratz-Lunde from the University of Michigan.

Qualifying rounds will continue on Tuesday, September 23. The main draw is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 24 and will run through Sunday, September 28.
