Arkansas women’s tennis to host Georgia and South Carolina in Fayetteville

The Arkansas Razorbacks women’s tennis team announced on Mar. 26 that it will face two top-30 ranked opponents, Georgia and South Carolina, this weekend in Fayetteville.

The matches are significant for the Razorbacks as they look to improve their current season record of 10-9 (1-8) after coming off two losses on the road. The team is currently ranked No. 57 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and No. 61 by UTR Sports.

Georgia arrives with a strong record of 12-3 (7-2), holding the No. 1 ranking from ITA and No. 3 from UTR Sports, while riding a two-match win streak. South Carolina holds a record of 9-8 (2-7), but is currently on a five-match losing streak, ranked No. 27 by ITA and No. 30 by UTR Sports.

The match against Georgia is scheduled for Friday at 5:00 p.m., followed by the contest against South Carolina at noon on Sunday, both at Billingsley Tennis Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
