Ten former Arkansas Razorbacks football players took the field during the first week of the 2025 NFL season, with four earning starting roles for their respective teams.
Isaac TeSlaa made his professional debut as a wide receiver for the Detroit Lions. He caught his first career reception and touchdown in Sunday’s 27-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. The rookie scored on a 13-yard pass from Jared Goff with less than a minute left in the fourth quarter.
Cam Little, playing as kicker for the Jacksonville Jaguars, matched his career high by making four field goals and two extra points in a 26-10 win over the Carolina Panthers. He totaled 14 points, which is also a personal best. Little’s longest field goal was from 47 yards, and he recorded three touchbacks out of seven kickoffs.
Other notable performances include Hjalte Froholdt (Arizona Cardinals), who started and played 66 snaps in a win against the New Orleans Saints. Feleipe Franks (Atlanta Falcons) contributed one tackle over 23 snaps despite not starting in a loss to Tampa Bay. Jake Bates (Detroit Lions) converted both of his field goal attempts and an extra point while handling kickoff duties.
Kamren Curl started for the Los Angeles Rams and registered eight tackles over 63 snaps during their victory against Houston. Hunter Henry (New England Patriots) started at tight end, making four catches for 66 yards across 66 snaps in a loss to Las Vegas. Deatrich Wise Jr. (Washington Commanders) started on defense, finishing with four tackles and half a tackle-for-loss over 40 snaps in their win against New York.
Several other former Razorbacks were listed as inactive or did not play due to injury or practice squad status.
Looking ahead to week two, all active former Arkansas players are expected to participate, including Kamren Curl and Beaux Limmer of the Los Angeles Rams facing Brandon Allen of the Tennessee Titans.
