Katherine Devenport has been named the Women’s College Gymnastics Association (WCGA) South Central Region Administrator of the Year for the second time in three seasons, according to an April 8 announcement.
The award highlights Devenport’s contributions during a notable season for Arkansas gymnastics. Her work included helping oversee Arkansas’ second full season of hosting all meets at Bud Walton Arena and assisting with marketing and ticketing efforts, particularly for the March 6 meet against top-ranked Oklahoma University, which drew a program and Southeastern Conference record crowd of 15,512 fans.
Arkansas reported an average attendance of 7,653 per meet in 2026, with total attendance reaching 38,263. These figures placed Arkansas eighth and ninth nationally in those categories this season. Devenport also helped introduce new club packages and courtside seating options at Bud Walton Arena to enhance fan engagement.
This recognition marks Devenport’s second time receiving the honor during her tenure with Arkansas gymnastics. The program has had six recipients overall: Bev Lewis was honored in 2004, 2006, and 2013; Chris Pohl received it in 2021; and Devenport previously won in 2024.
