Olympic 100m gold medalist Noah Lyles is set to compete in the 200m event at the 2026 Tyson Invitational, which will take place on February 13-14 at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville.

Lyles, who won the 100m gold medal at the Paris Olympics in 2024, has earned eight World Athletics titles during his career. His achievements include four titles in the 200m, one in the 100m, and three as part of the 4 x 100m relay team. At the World Athletics Championships held in Budapest in 2023, Lyles secured gold medals in all three events: the 100m, 200m, and 4 x 100m relay.

In addition to his Olympic successes—bronze medals in the 200m at both Tokyo and Paris—Lyles holds the American record for the men’s 200m with a time of 19.31 seconds from his victory at the World Athletics Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon, in 2022.

The men’s championship race for the 200m is scheduled for Saturday, February 14 at 2:40 p.m.

“It’s a big get for any meet anywhere if Noah Lyles is coming to your meet to compete,” said Arkansas men’s head coach Doug Case. “We’re really excited about having the world’s fastest man at the Tyson Invitational.

“Hopefully we can get a lot of people to come out and watch him run on Saturday. It’s going to be a great experience and I think it will be worth coming to see.”

The Tyson Invitational will also feature other events with World Athletics Silver status across both days. These include competitions such as men’s and women’s races for the 60m, 400m, and hurdles; as well as men’s high jump, long jump, and women’s triple jump.

Tickets are available through the Arkansas Razorback ticket office. Prices are $16 per day for adults and $11 per day for youth. The ticket office can also be reached by phone Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., either at 479-575-5151 or toll-free at 800-982-4647.
