The Arkansas Razorbacks men’s golf team has released its schedule for the 2025-26 season, marking head coach Brad McMakin’s 20th year with the program. The upcoming campaign includes hosting duties for both the Blessings Collegiate Invitational and the Cabo Collegiate, along with participation in six returning tournaments and one new event.
The season will begin at the Carmel Cup from August 29 to 31 at Spyglass Hill Golf Course in Pebble Beach, California. Arkansas has previously opened its season at this event seven times over eight years between 2014 and 2022. The team has secured third place three times in this competitive eight-team field. Notably, Luis Garza recorded an 8-under 64 in the 2018-19 tournament, tying for the third-best single-round score in school history.
Next on the schedule is the Bearcat Invitational on September 15-16 at Coldstream Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. This marks Arkansas’ third appearance after finishing as runner-up in both previous outings in fields of thirteen teams. In their first showing in 2017, Arkansas finished with a total score of 826, which remains among the top ten scores relative to par in program history.
Arkansas will host its fall home tournament, the Blessings Collegiate Intercollegiate (BCI), from September 20 to October 1 at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville. This will be the sixth consecutive year for BCI, described by organizers as “one of college golf’s most unique events.” The Razorback men won BCI titles in both 2021 and 2023 thanks to individual medalists Luke Long and John Driscoll III respectively. Combined with results from the women’s team, Arkansas programs have claimed four out of five combined team titles since BCI’s inception.
The team will make its debut at the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational on October 18-19 at Fallen Oak Golf Club in Saucier, Mississippi.
In February, Arkansas returns for only its second appearance at the Watersound Invitational held February 16-18 at Sharks Tooth Golf Course in Panama City Beach, Florida. The last time they played this event was February 2022 when Luke Long tied for fourth place.
The Cabo Collegiate is scheduled for March 1-3 at Twin Dolphin Club in Los Cabos, Mexico. This marks sixteen consecutive years for Arkansas participating or hosting this spring tournament which regularly features strong collegiate fields. The program won each of the first two Cabo Collegiate events and has placed within the top four during each of the past two seasons. Three out of five recent champions earned exemptions into PGA TOUR events.
March continues with a trip to Texas for the All-American Intercollegiate on March 16-17 at Golf Club of Houston. Arkansas has played this event twenty-one times since first appearing there in spring of 1967. Past individual winners include Deane Pappas (1992) and Taylor Moore (2016). The Razorbacks have taken home team titles three times: once each in Spring of 1992, Spring of 2012, and Spring of 2016.
From March 23-24, Arkansas competes again at Valspar Collegiate Invitational hosted by Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Florida—its thirteenth appearance overall and third straight year attending after missing a cancelled edition due to COVID-19 restrictions.
April brings participation at Mountaineer Invitational on April 13-14 held at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, West Virginia; it is their second appearance after winning there during their debut outing back in fall of 2016.
The SEC Championships return to St. Simons Island, Georgia for a twenty-fifth consecutive year; matches are set for April 22–26 at Sea Island Golf Club’s Seaside Course where Arkansas previously won conference titles in 1995 and 2019.
NCAA Regional competitions are scheduled May 18–20 across six host sites: Arizona State University; University of Georgia; Ohio State University; Oregon State University; Texas A&M University; and Wake Forest University.
Should they advance further into postseason play—the NCAA Championships return to Omni La Costa Resort – North Course located Carlsbad California—for a third straight year with stroke play set May 29–June 1 followed by match play June 2–3.
