Arkansas sophomore Scottie Vines matched his previous winning height of 7 feet, 3 inches (2.21 meters) in the high jump at the Randal Tyson Track Center, repeating his performance from last year’s Razorback Invitational. Vines, who set a personal best of 7-6 (2.29 meters) at the 2025 Tyson Invitational, attempted to clear 7-4.5 (2.25 meters) after securing victory at 7-3.
Vines began his season debut at 6-10.75 (2.10 meters), with successful jumps at 7-0.5 (2.15 meters) and 7-1.75 (2.18 meters) before clearing the winning height.
Georgia athletes Brion Stephens and Kimani Jack finished second and third with heights of 7-1.75 and 7-0.5 respectively. Jack entered the meet sharing the collegiate lead for 2026 with a mark of 7-4.5 (2.25 meters).
In other events, Arkansas sophomore Jelani Watkins made his debut in the 200m dash, winning his section in 20.88 seconds to place sixth overall; Watkins holds an indoor personal record of 20.78 from last year.
Dapriest Holmes led Arkansas sprinters with a time of 20.80 seconds for fifth place overall, while Jamarion Stubbs won his section in 21.02 seconds and placed eleventh overall. Florida’s Wayna McCoy posted the fastest time in the field at 20.50 seconds, ahead of Tyson Williams from South Carolina who finished in 20.56.
Owan Logorodi was Arkansas’s top finisher in the 800m, running a time of 1:48.46 to finish second in his section and eleventh overall; teammates Josh Rammage, Julian Carter, and Wyatt Green followed with times of 1:50.24, 1:51.78, and 1:54.07 respectively.
In the long jump event, Link Lindsey finished eleventh with a mark of 23-7.5 (7.20 meters).
