St. Joseph Church – Fayetteville issued the following announcement on May 1.

Would you like to serve the church as a member of the Parish Pastoral Council? The Parish Pastoral Council serves in an advisory capacity to Fr. Tyler. There will be two seats open on the Council starting in July. Members of the Parish Pastoral Council serve three-year terms and attend one meeting per month on the evening of the third Tuesday of the month. Nominations will be accepted through May 12. Please consider nominating yourself or someone you know for one of these positions. If you decide to nominate someone else, be sure that you, first, have received their consent. There are three ways to nominate someone for Parish Council: 1. Scan the QR code to the left with your phone to nominate online, OR 2. Write-in a name on the nomination form at the desk in the entryway, OR 3. Email the nomination to Rich Oloffson rmoloffson@yahoo.com We look forward to a great pool of candidates for this year’s elections!

SW A St between SW 7th St and SW 10th St as well as SW 8th St between SW B St and S Main St will be closed beginning 5:00am Monday, July 10th and is scheduled to open by 6:00pm on Wednesday, August 9th for road construction.
