City of Fayetteville issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
Valentine’s Day may have passed, but you spread the love who donated blood at the City of Fayetteville that hosted blood drive with the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) on Wednesday, February 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Downtown Square. Everyone who donates received a t-shirt.
When you give blood, you are literally helping local hospitals save lives; there is no easier way to save a life. Every two seconds someone needs blood. All blood types are needed; however, reserves for types A-, O- and AB- are very low.
