Cost of college went down for all students at the Northwest Technical Institute

Tuition and fees fell 11.3 percent for 2018-19 at the Northwest Technical Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Arkansas students paid $2,326 to attend the public school this year – $5 more than the $2,321 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 87 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 128 students received grants or scholarships totaling $366,544.

Including all undergraduates (237), 173 students used grants or scholarships totaling $535,213.
