FAYETTEVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: School Board Votes to Require Masks

Fayetteville High School issued the following announcement on Aug. 10.

At a special called meeting held on August 9, The Fayetteville Board of Education voted unanimously to revise Policy: 1.19: Wearing Masks and Face Coverings and resume the mask requirement for all K-12 students, staff members, and visitors to school buildings. Masks are now required while attending classes, working or attending a school function in any school building, indoor facility, or other indoor areas of a school campus; and when driving or riding in school-provided transportation. Policy 1.19 may be viewed here.

The policy revision will take effect immediately and remain in effect until further action of the Board.
