St. Joseph Church – Fayetteville issued the following announcement on Aug. 15.
Thank you to all parishioners who participated in the 2021 Lenten CRS Rice Bowl in February and March. Your giving to CRS was remarkable. We collected $3,452.77. Seventy-five percent of all money raised through CRS Rice Bowl provides lifesaving aid to those in need in many countries. Twenty-five percent of all money raised stays in our diocese for local programs to ease hunger and poverty. Thank you for your participation in CRS Rice Bowl this past Lenten season. You have made a difference in the lives of the poor
