CITY OF TONTITOWN: Tontitown Historical Museum Reopening

Open1

City of Tontitown issued the following announcement on Sept. 20.

The Tontitown Historical Museum is reopening! We are excited to share that we will be reopening the museum for visitors by appointment as of September 25th on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 pm for groups of 6 or fewer. If you would like to schedule a visit, please call (479) 361-9800 or email us at museum@tontitownar.gov. We hope to see you soon!

Housed in the former home of two of Tontitown’s original settlers, the sisters Mary and Zelinda Bastianelli, the Tontitown Historical Museum opened in August of 1986. In the Museum you’ll find photographs of and artifacts belonging to the original Italian settlers of Tontitown. The Museum is located at 251 E. Henri de Tonti Blvd., just east of Tontitown City Hall.
