St. Raphael Church – Springdale issued the following announcement on Sept. 19.
PRE Classes are starting this week If your child or any member of your household has been diagnosed with the COVID virus, or if they have been exposed to the virus at school or otherwise, or if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness, DO NOT ENTER OUR CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT! Any individual must stay at home until they can provide a doctor’s release allowing them to return to school. This rule will be strictly enforced for the safety and well-being of our children & catechists. We have many children under 12 attending our classes that have no option to receive the vaccine. Our catechists are volunteering, putting themselves at risk, in our classrooms. Our expectation is that everyone takes the risk of this deadly virus seriously and makes every effort to prevent the spread. If you knowingly send any child to class that has been exposed to the virus, you will not be allowed to continue in the program. Masks will also be required for everyone entering our building during PRE sessions
