City of Van Buren issued the following announcement Oct. 1.
The City of Van Buren is now accepting applications for a full-time entry level worker position at the Van Buren Street Department. All applicants must be over the age of 21, able to obtain a Class B CDL License, and able to work a variety of physical labor duties outside year-round. Concrete experience, backhoe, trackhoe, and skid steer operating experience preferred. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment. Applicants may be subject to a background check. Applications can be obtained from www.vanburencity.org or at the City Annex Building, 111 North 12th Street, Van Buren, AR.
