St. Joseph Church – Fayetteville issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
Come and help us from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Bring your leaf blowers, chainsaws, leaf and garden rakes, gloves, shovels, weed-eaters, brooms, and smiles. We'll trim branches, remove brush, level plots, and uneven ground (especially along our newly paved drive), and sow grass seed. Lots of hands help us get done in short order. Lunch will be served to all workers (by scriptural standards – even if you don’t show up till the last moment you will receive a full share!) at 11:45 a.m. This is a family event, kids welcome.
