ST. PAUL'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH: AIDS Quilt & World AIDS Day Service

1594844305 1463

St. Paul's Episcopal Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 28.

From Sunday, November 28, to Friday, December 3, four Arkansas panels of the 1987 AIDS Memorial Quilt are on display at St. Paul's.

The church is open for anyone who wishes to view these panels and spend quiet time with them. Hours are Sunday - Tuesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Wednesday - Friday: 8:00 am - 7:30 pm.

Volunteers are needed to help monitor the Quilt and its visitors throughout the display period. Sign up for a one-hour time slot at givepul.se/zpel0t.

The AIDS Memorial Quilt is a 54-ton tapestry with almost 50,000 panels commemorating more than 105,000 people. It is the largest piece of community folk art in the world. We are grateful to NWA Equality for bringing these four Arkansas panels to Fayetteville.

Join us for a service commemorating World AIDS Day on Wednesday, December 1, at 7:30 pm.
