St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish is a Christian community with a unique mission and commitment to the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Arkansas.
Position Description:
St. Thomas has recently embarked on a capital campaign to raise the needed funds for a new church and student center.
The Development office manages the capital campaign as well as all other fundraising initiatives like the annual fund, mission fund, and other special initiatives.
We are seeking an intern to assist the Development office. The Development Intern will provide direct support to the Director of Stewardship and Development. Tasks will include:
- Draft correspondence, reports, proposals, donor appeals and marketing materials
- Assist in event planning to include town hall gatherings and cultivation events
- Conduct research on potential donors and strategic partners
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Assist with data entry, mailings, filing, and special projects as needed
The position is a paid internship for 10 hours per week. Compensation is $12 per hour.
