City of Springdale issued the following announcement on Mar. 23.

Congratulations to the City of Springdale, AR on the announcement of its recent grant award from the Economic Development Administration (EDA). The city will receive a $2 million grant to extend Dixieland Road. EDA says this project is “expected to create 1,000 jobs and generate $42 million in private investment.” This is very exciting news for the City of Springdale and Northwest Arkansas. NWAEDD is delighted to partner with EDA and the City of Springdale in this effort.
