Fayetteville Seventh-day Adventist Church issued the following announcement on March 27.
Northwest Arkansas is seeing a resurgence in COVID-19 cases. For now, our church remains opens. To plan your visit, please consider the following:
If you are experiencing any flu or cold like symptoms, please stay home.
If you or a family member has tested positive for COVID-19, or you have been, or even suspect that you have been exposed to COVID-19, please quarantine for a minimum of 14 days and do not come to church. If you do test positive positive, please notify Joni asap.
Please practice social distancing while at church. Please no hugging, etc. Keep socializing at a minimum before and after services. Visiting needs to be done at a distance or if weather permitting, outside.
Masks are not required at this time, however, we would encourage you to consider wearing a mask while inside the building.
We will be following the guidelines from the city of Fayetteville and the State of Arkansas as they are issued
We have marked the pews off in a distance of 6' between each seat unless you are with family members. The individual pews are also marked, alternating the rows to be used.
As this is a rapidly changing situation, we invite you to check back here regularly as we will put out updates as often as we receive them. Our goal is to keep everyone healthy and free from this virus. If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, or have symptoms, be sure to talk to your health care provider to ensure best treatment for speedy and full recovery. Do not go out into public and risk spreading the virus unnecessarily. If you have been directly exposed to the virus, you should quarantine 14 days as a minimum, watching for symptoms.
