CITY OF SPRINGDALE: SBA Offers Disaster Assistance to Arkansas Businesses and Residents Affected by Severe Storms and Tornadoes

City of Springdale issued the following announcement on April 21.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE U.S. SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION FOR THOSE IMPACTED BY THE MARCH 30TH TORNADO- Please see Press Release below:

The Disaster Loan Outreach Center will be located at the Springdale Parks and Recreation Center beginning Tuesday, April 26 and will open at 1:00p.m. *ENTRY WILL BE LOCATED ON THE WEST END OF THE BUILDING. More information can be found in the press release.

"Low-interest federal disaster loans are available to Arkansas businesses and residents affected by severe storms and tornadoes that occurred on March 30, 2022, announced Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman of the U.S. Small Business Administration. SBA acted under its own authority to declare a disaster in response to a request SBA received from Gov. Asa Hutchinson on April 18, 2022.

The disaster declaration makes SBA assistance available in Benton, Crawford, Madison and Washington counties in Arkansas; and Adair County in Oklahoma."
