City of Tontitown issued the following announcement on April 28.
The City of Tontitown alongside the Environmental Air Quality Committee would like to invite you to celebrate National Air Quality week on May 14th, 2022, at 9:30am in the Harry Sbanotto Park.
The event will include presentations to raise awareness of the importance of environmental preservation and air quality.
There will also be a tree planting ceremony following the presentations. The Environmental Air Quality Committee, City Council, and other members of City staff will be planting over 16 trees in the Harry Sbanotto park. There will be a variety of different tree species planted in the park including, a dogwood tree, willow trees, red buds, oak trees, cypress trees and maple trees.
Please plan to join us as we celebrate the importance of National Air Quality week, and work towards improving our local environment.
