All U of A students, faculty and staff are cordially invited by the African Students Organization to the African Gala Night at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Fayetteville Town Center, located at 15 W. Mountain on the Fayetteville Square.
The African Gala Night is an event that reaches out to people of the Northwest Arkansas community to enjoy a night of learning about the different cultures of Africa and celebrating one another. There will be performances of the arts, traditional foods, souvenirs and much fun at the event. The event serves to be a time that will highlight and represent people of African descent to come together and showcase their culture. Anyone from the Northwest Arkansas region is welcome to attend.
Students can get their free tickets and non-students can purchase tickets from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 28-29. Tickets will be given out in front of the Arkansas Union. In case of rain, the tickets will be distributed outside the food court in Arkansas Union. Tickets are free for students, and paid tickets are available for non-students to purchase for $8. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, as we have a limited number of tickets.
